International School on Hot Rock Avalanches - First Circular
We are delighted to announce the first circular for the International School on Hot Rock Avalanches, themed 'Experimental, Analytical, and Numerical Approach to Volcanic Rock Failure and Deposit-Derived PDCs Formation.'
The event is scheduled to take place from June 3 to June 6, 2024, at the Science Department at Roma Tre University in Rome, Italy. The school is organized in collaboration with the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia and the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Florence. This initiative is part of the PRIN PNRR 2022 Project 'Causes and Consequences of Deposit-Derived Pyroclastic Density Currents,' and enjoys the patronage of the Associazione Italiana di Vulcanologia (AIV).
