International School on Hot Rock Avalanches - Programme

We are delighted to announce the publication of the programme for the International School on Hot Rock Avalanches, themed 'Experimental, Analytical, and Numerical Approaches to Volcanic Rock Failure and Deposit-Derived PDC Formation.'

The event is scheduled to take place from June 3 to June 6, 2024, at the Science Department of Roma Tre University in Rome, Italy. The school is organized in collaboration with the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia and the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Florence. This initiative is part of the PRIN PNRR 2022 Project 'Causes and Consequences of Deposit-Derived Pyroclastic Density Currents,' and enjoys the patronage of the Associazione Italiana di Vulcanologia (AIV).
